| The Recreational Vehicle
Industry Association reported wholesale shipments of 21,500 units
in November, down 29.5% from the same period in 2006. Towables continue to
show the most softness with YTD sales down 14.6% compared with 2006.
Motorhomes were down 10.8% in November compared with 2006 and down 1.3% YTD.
In November 2006, the
RVIA reported that U.S. recreational vehicle makers expect shipments to dealers to drop more
than 11 percent to 341,900 in 2007 from an expected 385,500 units in 2006. |
