| The Recreational Vehicle
Industry Association reported that wholesale shipments of 37,100 units
in March, down 14.5% from the same period in 2006. The softness in unit
shipments was across the board. Shipments were down 15.8% for the first
quarter compared with the same period in 2006.
In November 2006, the
RVIA reported that U.S. recreational vehicle makers expect shipments to dealers to drop more
than 11 percent to 341,900 in 2007 from an expected 385,500 units in 2006. |
